It’s my favorite time of year again! One of the best things about Christmastime is flying to see you, so we’ll be heading to CITY soon. You’re on the top of my Good List this year and I’m really excited to visit STATE to bring you a surprise!

Mrs. Claus loves to make yummy things all year long, but during Christmas time she bakes something new and delicious almost every day! I try to be good and not eat too much dessert, but her treats are so tasty I simply can’t resist. Just the other evening we were enjoying my favorite candy cane cupcakes after dinner. All of a sudden, I heard a SNAP and the middle button on my coat popped right off! It bounced off the tea kettle, flew past Mrs. Claus’ head and landed next to the fireplace with a thud. I laughed so hard my belly really did shake like a bowl full of jelly!

I promised Mrs. Claus I would eat more vegetables and she promised to help me cut back on all the sweets. I hope you eat your vegetables too.

I’m happy to report you’re at the top of my Good List this year…again! It’s almost Christmas time and we’re making plans to visit you in CITY. We love going to STATE and we’re really looking forward to our Christmas Eve adventure.

We have a lot of Christmas trees here at the North Pole, and of course they stay decorated all year long. Mrs. Claus noticed that the popcorn garland on one Christmas tree looked kind-of old, so we sat down one evening to make some new strings. We ran out of popcorn before our garland was very long, so Mrs. Claus made another batch, and we got back to work. We seemed to be running out of popcorn pretty fast, and Mrs. Claus made two more bowls. Out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw something brown and furry, but when I looked around, the room was empty. Then I thought I heard a little jingle, but there was no one there. I reached into the bowl for a piece of popcorn and my hand brushed against something hard – a reindeer hoof! I looked down and there was Dasher, sneaking popcorn from the bowl! He sure enjoyed his snack that night!

Keep being good, NAME, and you’ll find a wonderful surprise from me when you wake up Christmas morning. I know you can do it, and I can’t wait to peek in on you this year.

Dear NAME,
I’m so excited that Christmas time is finally here! It seems like I’ve been waiting forever, the reindeer and I are getting things ready for our trip to CITY. We can’t wait to fly into STATE to bring you a surprise!

Do you have a favorite superhero? When I was a little boy, there was a special character I really loved, and I would dress up in a cape and mask and pretend I was flying to save the world! These days I’m pretty busy and don’t play superhero anymore, so Mrs. Claus and my head elf surprised me with a new Santa-sized cape and mask. The cape was red, of course, with a big fancy S on the back. I was a little nervous about running around the workshop in my costume, but Mrs. Claus reminded me that keeping the spirit of children in my heart is part of the magic of Christmas, so now I zoom around and around, and all the elves cheer! Now I pretend to be Super Santa!

It’s almost time to fill up my pack and head out, NAME, so do your best to be kind and true so I can come by and see you Christmas Eve. I’ll be extra quiet so I don’t wake you up! Merry Christmas!

Dear NAME,
I’m so happy to report it’s Christmas time again! Things are picking up at the North Pole and we’re getting ready for our trip to STATE to see you. TOWN is a wonderful place to visit on Christmas Eve and we can’t wait!

There are lots of elves who work here at the North Pole and they always have great ideas for new toys and games to make for Christmas. Not too long ago Katie, one of the chief toy makers, asked that we make more pink things this year, and of course I said we could. When I came back from lunch that day, there were pink cars, pink horses, pink blocks, pink dinosaurs, pink pogo sticks, pink rubber chickens and, well, you get the idea. Everything was pink! Mrs. Claus thought the toys looked fabulous!

I’ve been checking the letters from kids around the world and it looks like there are lots of children who will love getting pink things this year. What a relief! I must admit, the soft colors of all that pink sure make the workshop look magical. I wish you could see it, too!

Reindeer Noses

Dear NAME,
This year has passed so quickly, and Christmas is almost here! The reindeer and I can’t wait to fly to STATE – you’re at the top of my Good List again and we can’t wait to visit you in CITY soon!

Having nine reindeer is a lot of fun, and each one is unique. Dasher is sporty, Dancer is graceful, Prancer is very strong, and Vixen is quite handsome. Comet loves to laugh, Cupid makes everyone feel special, Donner is loud and lively, and Blitzen is fast as lightning. And then there’s Rudolph, who is quite shy. But when they get together, they get silly and love to play jokes!

I went into the stable to feed the reindeer their dinner one day and found them all in their pens wearing red noses! I didn’t know which reindeer was the real Rudolph and they snickered and laughed while I scratched my head in wonder.
Finally, I had a great idea! I turned off the light in the stable and all the reindeer became very quiet. I saw something bright red shining from Comet’s pen and knew I had figured it out. I turned on the light and the reindeer took off their fake noses, leaving only one with a shining red one – the real Rudolph. Mystery solved!

You’ve been so good this year, NAME, please keep up the good work so I can stop by Christmas Eve.

Christmas is coming soon, and we here at the North Pole are so excited! Soon we’ll pack up the sleigh and head out to visit you in TOWN. STATE is so much fun to visit on our Christmas Eve trip!

Life at the North Pole is always fun, and sometimes things get a little crazy! Last week my head elf asked to take the sleigh for a test drive, so we drove it up to Holiday Hill. After zooming around for a while we headed back to the workshop. Before we made it home, we got stuck at a penguin crossing! Lines and lines of penguins waddled across the road on their way to Winter Pond – it has the best sliding hills in the North Pole! Penguins can move pretty fast, especially when they’re on their way to have fun, but there were so many it took forever. Finally, the last little penguin waddled across the road, and we made it home to the workshop. Have you ever seen a real penguin? They’re pretty cute!

I’ll be coming to visit soon, NAME, and I look forward to seeing you Christmas Eve. Have a magical winter and a merry Christmas!
